Manasa Jayanthi

Manasa Jayanthi is an Indian American Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dancer, educator, and creative strategist whose work bridges classical heritage and contemporary relevance. Trained under Smt. Jothi Raghavan in Bharatanatyam and Shri Kasi Aysola in Kuchipudi, her artistry reflects a deep engagement with South Indian traditions while embracing storytelling as a medium for dialogue, design, and cultural reflection.

As Creative Director at Global Indian Artist, Manasa helps shape how diasporic artistry is seen, felt, and experienced through creative direction, narrative, and community presence. Her work supports GIA’s mission to foster cross-cultural dialogue and amplify diverse creative voices through the arts.

She also serves as the Artistic Director of the Nrityanjali School of Dance, and through her independent initiative Manasa Arts LLC, she continues to explore intersections between art, education, and social impact. Her practice advocates for financial literacy and sustainability in the arts, empowering artists to build enduring creative lives.

Her performances and community initiatives have received national and international recognition, reflecting her commitment to positioning Indian classical dance as both timeless and responsive to the contemporary world.
